Fishing the River Corrib

    Hi all. Anyone have any advice about fishing the river corrib above the salmon weir? I have my salmon license and I’m wondering is it worth spinning from the bank there. Does anyone catch trout or salmon around there? I’m not after pike so don’t want to waste my time if that’s all I’ll catch. Any info or tips are appreciated. Thanks.

    salmon tend to run through the slow water I’m afraid
