Hi. I have an existing opening in my garden wall that goes into my garden from the road (Local road). Do I need planning permission to extend the driveway so it uses this opening to give me a second entrance? it is already wide enough for vehicles.

You will need permission for a second entrance and just to note that this is something the planners don't like.
