Second hand Mazda turbo gone after three months

I purchased a 142 Mazda 3 from a dealer on 18th December it came with 3 months warranty.

Three weeks in it was leaking coolant, took it back and the dealer said he fixed a leak in the radiator. Two weeks later same coolant light and white exhaust smoke, left it back and he replaced the EGR cooler. Car went ok for a month then another light on the dash took it back and he put it in computer and said it was a steering alignment problem or vacuum pump and cleared the light and said if it comes back on let him know. Week later vehicle system malfunction light on again, I texted him to say to ring me and I'll drop it up, this was on last day of warranty, I got no word from him and didn't panic as car was driving fine and he told me it was nothing to worry about. The turbo has gone in it this morning. What is my course of action here? Should be be repairing it? Can I get him to take this car back? He was funny on the phone said do you want me to look at it.

First of all are you aware of how bad the diesel engine is in those Mazdas? Its genuinely the worst engine you can buy in Ireland.

I’d imagine the dealer needs to be given a chance to fix it before you can consider getting a refund. Being outside of warranty isn’t helping your case tho.

Sounds like cowboy dealer. Bet option is call to him in person warranty fix it up air I think if won't fix under warranty ihopefully you can come to some type of deal ie just pay for parts and he fit it for free ect unless you vehicle system malfunction was something to do with turbo might be good idea to get someone with proper Diagnostic equipment to read errors code and if is something to do with turbo take picture of fault code it should have date and mileage on it and go to dealer then demanding free fix as it said went malfunction light came on it was fine

This is a Mazda 3, is it the 1.6 (DV6) engine, same as in Ford/Citroen etc?

2014 would be the newer model 3 which would have Mazda's own made 2.2 litre.
