    Hi Everyone!

Does anyone here work in Irish water/Uisce eireann and could share there experience working there?

I recently got a job offer there and was wondering if anyone could share how it's like working there. Also is it hard to move around/to different departments because I have been offered a job in a department not relevant to my experience and was wondering how difficult it is to change from department to department. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I received a job offer with company van included for wastewater treatment plant operative. Still haven't accepted but I think I will. Plant is about 25 min away from me. I really don't know what they're like to work for but reviews seem OK and I'm sure if you express an interest on changing departments it's ok

    Did you take the offer?

I got an offer for a similar role also and didn't accept yet.

    Congratulations on the new job!

How long were you on the panel before the job offer?

    Nice one.

Did you manage to negotiate any bit on the initial salary offer or were you happy with it?

I was happy enough. With the extra allowances etc it's not too bad.

I interviewed in Cork for a Craftworker role and was successful.

The questions were not related in anyway to their online interview prep questions or anything the hiring manager told me.

Aside from the technical questions the majority of my questions were on safety, SOP's, conflict resolution etc. Usual copy and paste stuff.

Prospect1991 may be able to help you more.

    Best of luck.

EDIT: just realised I'm a week late. Hope it went well.
