Tall tree that can be grown in a pot/planter box?

Any suggestions for a tall narrow tree that can be grown from a large pot or planter box to create privacy? Driveway is fully paved so planting directly into ground isn’t an option.

Since it can be grown as a hedge, maybe beech?
