    Hi All,

Car died in Drogheda yesterday so left it there and got bus home. Could spend 200 to get it towed home to get repaired but was wondering if there are any recommendations for local mechanic who would be able to pick up car and take for repair

It's a 2017 Renault grand scenic and pretty certain it's the master cylinder gone as mechanic end of last year said it was on the way out.

If anyone has a ballpark of price to fix that would be great also

    Thanks

Not sure if he would pick it up, but Ciaran Judge is the guy I have gone to many times, long term pro who charges too little on a regular basis. I've had two cars recovered to his garage directly before and he got them both sorted. Worth a call after the weekend I'd say.

Cool, thanks for that. Came across his name from a 10 year old thread so wasn't sure if he was still in business

+1 on Ciaran Judge - he keeps our fleet of classic cars on the road.

Thats a different Ciaran than the Kieran car sales up beside the M1 retail park or same crowd?

Kieran’s motors is beside the m1 retail park .

Judge motors ( ciaran ) is the mechanic recommendation,( he is based up beside the large Tesco ) he is my mechanic too for our cars . Sound fella , he won’t be able to tow / recover the car for you , but if you can get the car to him , he won’t let you down , very honest fella . He is flat out at the minute , but if he can help in an emergency he will .
