'Thinking about upgrading from my 3060 ti build I got off pc specialist a few years ago . Be writing it off as a business expense . Just wondering is it worth the extra € to build around a 4090? And is pc specialist still the top option for pre built if i don't want to do it myself ?

Honestly, it's probably not worth it and I say that as a 4090 owner. They're disproportionately expensive for the performance gain, they're large enough that fitting them in a case is a concern, and they eat power. You'll also want to ensure your PSU is both strong enough and good quality enough to withstand the power spikes. Unless there's some very specific business need for it, the 4080 Super is way more practical.

Plus it looks like the 50x0 series may appear later this year, September or thereabouts, if you can wait.

TBF Dragon's Dogma 2 is heavily CPU-bound, to the point that RTX 4090 and RTX 4070 are delivering the same performance.
