We live in an estate that Circet installed fibre in the ducts and new boxes on gable ends etc last December.

Had eir and vodafone at the door today trying to sell FTTH, rang up eir and they say its not available.

    Any ideas?

They generally knock around a few weeks before it goes live on their systems to sell. Next time they knock in see if they have a date for it going live in the area. They knocked into me 2-3 weeks before it was due to go live.

Forgot to say, a neighbour 4 doors away can order up to 1gb, next door it still says available to order from 24/04

As people mentioned it might be a pre-order. Usually it's 30 days before Fibre goes active in the area.

Or it's possible only half of the estate was loaded for Fibre. Your home might update next month. Door to door guys might have been told to target whole estate but weren't told that not every house can get it yet.
