Where to buy ammunition online?

Hello,

As the title suggests, I am looking to buy ammunition. Specifically shotgun shells.
I can buy them locally, but any store near me charges, what seems like, ridiculous prices.
Assuming it's possible, are there any negatives to buying over the net?

pick who you want based on location, price, availability and shipping etc

I’d assume that by the fact they are licensed to sell, they are reputable.

I'd imagine given the weight of Shotgun Cartridges delivery could kill any potential savings?

And yeah, you're right. I talked with my dad about it (as they're for him) and from what we could tell the cost would end up being the same, as if we were to buy locally - locally being Cork, as the only fella selling ammunition in Midleton is a robber.

It wouldn't be worth the time or effort to go farther than the distance from Midleton to Cork, as his license only allows for 50 shells to be purchased at a time, I believe. It's certainly not more than 100.

A lot of online retailers will do free shipping over a certain amount(usually ~€100), but if the licence only allows 50 cartridges than that wouldn't be anywhere near the amount needed to avail of the free shipping.
Could always request an increase on the licence to a slab(250 cartridges) which would be a pretty common limit to have.
