Lock for backyard door

Hi All,

I am looking to change manual latch which opens from inside into a lock which can be opened from outside and possibly keyless type without electricity; on my backdoor entry gate.

Any suggestions/options which are worth considering.

Code locks are usually fine for back gates. At the end of the day if someone wants to get in they will climb over the wall etc..

I got this lock about 5 years ago after much searching in local stores, good quality and has been used daily since. Thumb lock on one side were more common but unlike your requirements I wanted mine to be a keyed entry from each side to prevent anyone from jumping the gate/wall and just opening the side gate for easy access. Granted they could still jump the wall and unscrew the lock/bracket but that would require pre-planning and some time.

thanks is it easy to put in the frame ? and will it lock on both sides??
