A program I use a lot - Capture One RAW image editor - lags a lot. When using sliders (e.g. Exposure adjustment) the image gets a little crunchy, before settling again when I stop the adjustment. None of this happens when using Photoshop - it's smooth as glass.

    The spec is:

    Windows 10 x64

    Intel Core i7 6800k @ 3.4Ghz

    64Gb DDR4 RAM

    Asus X99-Pro MB

    Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070

    BenQ SW271 4K monitor

Which bit(s), if any, should I upgrade?

    Thanks.

    D.

I do not use Capture One Raw Image Editor, but I also have a few resource-hungry programs that I use. Comparing the specs of your machine with the recommended system requirements of the program you are using, are you using SSD yet?
