10W led pir lights

Need to get two led pir lights for a yard. Last set I put in failed after a strong storm.they were ip44.

Looking now to get a stronger IP rating setup. Any recommendations or where can I get any online?

Is it better to separate everything out - I.e. have a separate pir and just buy lights?

I've got the lights on a bracket like this:

Just concerned that it might be a lot of cables up the wall, as the pir cabling would have to go back up the wall and into the garage along with the two light cables.

What is the best way to do this?

It's probably better and simpler to use pir led lights rather than separates

Always use separate PIR !!

At 10W, you can use very slim cables, should make wiring a bit easier..

On time . Time light stays on

No need to create a nuisance with a short on time

I read that as separates have an issue with an on-time short-circuit.

Couldn't understand what it meant.

That's actually against regulations to use smaller cables on the fixed wiring

1.5 is minimum allowed on the fixed wiring afaik
