Moving a log cabin/garden room

I have a 5m x 3m garden room and need to get it moved to our new house. I'm in the Delgany/Greystones area.

I was talking to a crane driver who said it is not feasible to move it by crane as access to the new house is not great and we need a long reach to get it over a two storey house and well down the garden. It would take a 100 ton crane which would chew up the grass verges and probably damage the footpaths!

So I am looking for someone to dismantle and and rebuild it in the new location.

    Would anyone have any recommendations?

these guys maybe (I've seen them advertising on GOF): https://www.facebook.com/wicklowdecking.ie

Loghouse.ie up in Glen of the Downs did our garden office, they may know someone who could do the job.

Thanks for the contact. I'll check them out. Loghouse did your garden room also, and they used to provide a service for moving the rooms but no longer do and the person I spoke to didn't have any recommendations.

Did you get this sorted? I’m in a position now whereby I need to move log cabin from one area in the garden to another?

No Harm to ask the original installer if they do such a service, as they would be well used to the assembly process and fasteners used! Worth a try! Failing that a decent chippie?!?

Apologies for not replying sooner, only logging back in now..

We did get it sorted in the end. We got a carpenter to dismantle and rebuild it for us. It cost €3.5k and took three of them 5 days in total to get it done.

It was well worth it in the end.

We are actually in this predicament now but we can't find anyone to disassemble and reassemble for us. I don't suppose you have the number of the person you used.?
