It represents a landmark in MG's powertrain development, as the first pure hybrid model to be launched.

1.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor, for a combined power output of 194PS.

It returns combined fuel economy of 64.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 100g/km. Its efficiency is aided by a larger 1.83kWh battery

Starting from £18,495, SE includes MG Pilot, Rear Parking Sensors, 10.25" Colour Touchscreen with Satellite Navigation, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™ as standard.

Alternatively, choose the top-of-the-range Trophy starting from £20,495, with Heated Front Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, 360° Camera, Leather Style Upholstery, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Zone Detection with Lane Change Assist, and Keyless Entry.

Looks like a nice alternative for people that used to buy Fiesta's.

People actually like hatchbacks, so many big crossovers now it's getting ridiculous, funny watching people trying to park at the local tescos in many of these cars now, parking spaces haven't got larger over the years but the cars have.

Crossovers are expensive too, some people just want cheap transport to get from A to B but the likes of Renault and Toyota have decided to remove the 1.0L and 1.2 L cars for much more expensive hybrids. It's ridiculous.

As expected, proper climate controls have now been replaced by menus, ridiculous.

The interior however does look a lot nicer than the ID3. That wouldn't be hard and I bet it has rear door speakers too !

Come on @Mad_Lad you're spamming every thread with complaints about screens and your id3 since you came back, point made and heard at this stage but it's getting old.
