Anyone any idea why this has disappeared from the shelves of every supermarket?

Erin would know - sometimes products are discontinued.

Their chicken in white wine is gone too.

Boyne Valley Foods would be who to ask there; after a particularly messy process involving sales, resales, licences, renames etc they own Erin and the formerly Campbells condensed soup brands now.

The UK equivalent Batchelors product - same recipe, same origins, different company now due to a sale - seems to have patchy stock in UK supermarkets too. I presume they're made in the same factory.
