Been away from fly fishing for a long time so I'm a bit rusty .I'm planning on fishing for trout on the Boyne this month and any advice on flies and what line I should be using is appreciated. Should I try nymphs this time of year

Nymphs will be good this time of year for sure. If the water is higher and more coloured then don't be afraid to try streamers too, you'd be surprised at the size of the fish that have a crack off them!

If you see the odd fish rising then don't be afraid to try dry flies or wet flies too.

In short, it will depend on the day!
