Acrylic roof coating vs bituminous mastic

Can anyone say what are the respective pros and cons between these two products. I think acrylic may be a bit pricier (both contain fibreglass fibres to reinforce the coat) To my mind the bituminous mastic may be tackiest,whereas the acrylic seems to be a bit more flexible.
