WhatsApp call from Nigeria

I just got a call on WhatsApp that displayed the number and not a name so not in my contacts obviously. I intended to hit the red button but I accidentally accepted the call. There was no voice and I hit the option to report and block the number. Country code is Nigeria and I am just wondering if simply accepting the call…

Country code is Nigeria and I am just wondering if simply accepting the call has left my phone at risk or mark my number for future attempts.

Possibly as they know its a working number , i let them ring out as slow to get phone out of pocket and then block them.

I blocked but no doubt that will make little difference.
I’m very annoyed that I acceptEd the call when I knew it was dodgy. Stupid fingers.
