Beading on top of skirting board

Hey Guys, So i recently bought a new build and i hired a guy to fit my floors. Unfortunately he did not take off the skirting board before putting in the tiles and i was left with a very bad looking edges of the floor. To cover it up i had some beading put on it but now i'm wondering if i can just buy a new thicker…

Hey Guys,
So i recently bought a new build and i hired a guy to fit my floors. Unfortunately he did not take off the skirting board before putting in the tiles and i was left with a very bad looking edges of the floor. To cover it up i had some beading put on it but now i'm wondering if i can just buy a new thicker skirting board instead and get that installed and get rid of the current beading and the skirting. Does anyone have any recommendation for where i can get thick skirting boards? Also any recommendations for a reliable fitter as well?
