im from monaghan town and have my outdoor antenna pointing at the monaghan soarview transmitter. i pull in the soarview channels all in great quality. For some reason, it also pics up the freeview channels but the signal breaks up, is it possible the back off the antenna is pulling in the freeview channels. i probably need…

For some reason, it also pics up the freeview channels but the signal breaks up, is it possible the back off the antenna is pulling in the freeview channels. i probably need a second antenna and point it at a freeview transmitter in the north and use a diplexer to combine. whats you thoughts

Yes, that's exactly it.
Someone from the area maybe able to give more specific advice regarding Freeview masts and required aerial.
