Emma Mattress Hip Pain

Long story short, had a double Emma on a lat base for a few years, nice and soft for a side sleeper. Upgraded to a Emma King (this time on a Divan base) and the thing is rock hard and im waking up with hip pain. No idea of it's the base or if Emma mattresses are being made differently but have to return and get something…

Looked a at a couple in a store. at the 800/850 mark in Bargaintown and Des Kelly.
1. MLilly 2000 premium.
2. Respa Pocket 1400.
Probably leaning to the MLilly which is a foam/spring hybrid.
Have also read good things on boards about the Hilton 3000.
Conscious alot of places don't seem to offer returns for change of mind.
