Im currently looking at a 2023 VW Tiguan in Northern Ireland

The car was first registered new in Northern Ireland last year.

Along with VRT, Is additional VAT and import due on this car?

I think once it's registered from birth in NI there is no VAT or customs duty owed. However if it's less than 6 months old and/or has less than 6000km on the clock then it's still liable for VAT.
