Anyone use Letterboxd?

I find it fantastic. I watch a lot of movies during the year (over 900 last year, and around 150 this year so far) and its a great way to keep track of what you watched. I actually paid for the patron membership of around €50 per year, and for me its absolutely worth it. It gives you a complete breakdown of what you have watched by genre, country, language etc. Every statistic you could want it gives you. It also gives you recommendations for movies you may like. I also find it a great opportunity to follow and talk to other film lovers. I use it in conjunction with IMDB, icheckmovies and Criticker.

Anyone use it, and what are your opinions of it?

Oh, so it's like a film diary of sorts?

Does it have any integration with the likes of Netflix, YouTube etc. to avoid having to manually add a film that you watched?

I have one. Love it.

I got to the cinema all the time and I barely break 100 films for the year. How on earth did you manage 900?! That's like 3 films a day!

I don't think it has that integration yet, but they are always updating the site, and adding new features. It is a great tool for sharing your taste in film, or a diary to record your opinion about films as you watch them.

Yeah I love letterboxd TBH. It has opened up a tonne of diverse recommendations via following an interesting mix of professionals (critics, writers even the odd Hollywood name like Mike Flanagan) or the various film nerds and obsessives in the community; and I've found that community a much more positive, less reactionary or histrionic one than communities on other media sites like IMDB or RT. You get the odd knuckle dragger but they're few and far between

Wish their API was public cos I'd like to fashion my own little feeds as the site is a bit finicky at times to browse in certain ways.

I'm lazy and just copy-paste my letterboxd reviews form there to the film forum here, so my stream of consciousness has already leaked into Boards and read be some lol
