What happens motor insurance policies taken out today (29th February)?

We are in a leap year, occuring once every 4 years, what happens if you take out a car insurance policy today, the expiry date can't be 29th February next year as that date won't exist. Perhaps insurers just forget about today and write the business as starting tomorrow?

The policy will end at midnight on 28th February 2025

its always the previous date on the following year, so mine is 3rd Feb 2024 00:00 - 2nd Feb 2025 23:59
