Set in Ireland too; so even if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Ishana didn't set the thing in Philadelphia at least 🤭

Looks intriguing enough but the trick will be how long they can keep the mystery going without underwhelming at the end. Concepts like this front load themselves with the premise, but run outta gas quick enough.

Hard not to be a little cynical about this though and whisper Nepo Baby, cos were it not for the familial connection would this have been greenlit at all? Impossible to tell of course.

Yeah I read the book a few months ago. Not sure what to make of the trailer. Not what I imagined.

Yeah it was a pretty decent read. It's not going to blow your socks off or anything.

Enjoyed the book too. Some interesting twists - a few of which are spoiled in the trailer.🤔

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Not gonna lie, I kind of enjoyed it. Would have liked more about the background of the watchers & Mina herself…

Watched this last night and the weak reviews didn't massively put me off, but it really is horrible.

Same as her father's more recent films, it's just a mess of bad acting and extremely poor dialogue even if the core premise is relatively sound.

Dakota Fanning and Olwen Fouere are kinda OK with what they're given to be fair about it, but they're given very little.

The same story has been done incomparably better in other recent films, which I won't name to avoid giving any spoilers for anyone going in blind.

Not just mediocre, but bad. I'd say it's a 3.5/10, I found it a tough watch.

I liked this film, and liked the Irish lore too tbh.

Don't understand at the end though, that your one is stull watching her in the kids body. She wanted to see the world, flew away, is free, so whats she playing at?
