Traffic in Wexford town

I don't know whats going on lately but there seems to be a massive issue with regards to traffic lately. Taking me nearly half a hour or that to get home now from just outside of town to inner town. Whiterock hill is backed up in the mornings/evenings to about Ard Uisce from brownes roundabout. To go down the faythe towards the pike/king street is back up to Londis some days lately. Is there some massive roadworks going on or have I missed something since Christmas?

Too many cars coming in the morning and going out of town in the evening is the main problem but there are some roadworks in Trinty Street and a few others around but wait till August when the whole town will be closed to traffic for the Fleadh

Completely dreading that whole process now. I think I might work for home or leave the country during that week.

Closing the whole Quay to traffic is going to create problems imagine coming over the bridge trying to get to the Talbot Hotel.

At the moment the bridge is under pressure as it is. The Ring roads are also under severe pressure. I've seen from Ferrycarrig roundabout backed up to whitford and onto the rosslare side some evenings...

According to my phone about 10 minutes ago. I got an alert to say from Castlebridge to town is going to take a hour and 10 minutes...
