How much did it cost to floor your house?

    Hi there,

    We bought a new build and its not due for completion until July 2024. But we are trying to get an idea how much we should have aside for flooring. Given the variety of options (hardwood, laminate, tile, etc.) and quality available, I'm trying to gather some insights on the costs involved based on other peoples experiences.

    If anyone is willing to share, could you please provide information on the following:

    1. The type of flooring you chose (e.g., hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile).
    2. The size of the area you had floored (in square feet or square meters).
    3. The approximate cost of the flooring project, including materials and labor.
    4. Any additional costs that were not anticipated.

    Any advice or recommendations you could provide based on your experience would also be greatly appreciated!
