Hi!

I have put in for mobility from Sligo to Tipperary due to home move. I am currently working in the DSP as a CO.

I applied for Revenue, AGS, and Civil Defense.

I am being warned now that loads of staff are leaving AGS as they will be changing the terms and Clerical staff will no longer be Civil Servants but employees of the Garda Comissioner??

Has anyone any information on this change, positive or negative, can you give me any advice on whether I should proceed with this particular application or cancel it and wait for Revenue and Civil Defence instead!

If you've come in through PAS then you're fine. I don't think you can be transferred over.

Out of interest how do you go about getting on the mobility list?

go onto the NSSO and theres a mobility section - you can go on it from day 1 - on to the particular list you want but you wont be unfrozen untill you do your 2 years
