Alternative to Whazon Cork?

Whazon is pretty shyte. Or maybe Cork is shyte. Apparently there are only 5 events in the entire city tonight. On a Friday.

Surely there's more stuff going on.

Is there a better Whazon alternative that lists more stuff? Whazon seems to be just bands. What about DJs or general events like the Latina Night or whatever.

Totally agree!

Must be a lotta stuff going on in Cork from music to club sporting matches, cake sales, etc

U only get to hear about them when the event is over.

How many times I’ve wanted to do something interesting or different and never had a proper source to flag an event.

I think tbh it's also sort of up to the events to contact some of these publications and list themselves.

AFAIK, the Whatzon will list most events if told about them, they only charge for display ads which are taken out by promoted events and so on.

A lot of events just seem to only bother with social media nowadays and sometimes it's not great if you're' trying to find all the listings in one place.

It's a pity as you can't find anything anymore.
