I need to free up garage space so am looking to move on my CAAD12 (size 51)

    Asking €1100 for 7.5kg beautiful bike 😘

I have it 7/8 years and during covid gave it an overhaul

Powder coated Icelandic green, (bit of a traditional colour for Cannondale) metallic gold custom graphics (set in silver too if you dont like gold). choice of chrome or black stem & seat posts. (Looks really retro in chrome but I prefer it in black)

Cannondale carbon hollowgram wheels latex tubes, vitoria tyres

    Fizic Arione R1 carbon saddle

    Dura Ace shifters

    Dura Ace front derailleur

    Dura Ace wheel Skewers

    Ultegra R derailleur

    Black 105 calipers

'Cannondale' spider ring (Chinese) crank and chainrings 36/50

    Carbon bars

Fresh inner and outer cables, brake pads and tape.

    Carbon ultegra spd-l

    Out front garmin mount

    Carbon bottle cage

    Ultegra chain

    Ultegra cassette 11/28

Needs nothing mechanically, there are 4/5 tiny (1-2mm2) chips on the back of the back of the lower seat tube from stone chips

I have played around with a few cranks, wheelsets and tyres. Settling on the spec above hence why it's a little diff in some pictures😉

It's hanging on the wall since mondello 24hr last year, I just dont ride the roads.

Any Q's please ask. Based west Wicklow, working in citywest.

Few edits for spelling spec updates and photos

    Ahhhh Jaaaaaaayyyysussss.

Man. That is an absolutely gorgeous colour scheme. Haven't ever seen that before. For the first time in my life I wish I was a foot shorter!

Sure you could buy it and leave it hanging on the wall like mine 😉

    Bike porn

If that was 54 or 56 I'd buy it

    If that was a 54.......definitely

    Colour scheme is so cool.

Beautiful bike, way too small for me, though, and I've been looking at various CAADs recently.

Best of luck with the sale

Too small for me too, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Where did you get it powder coated? I have steel touring frame I need to get painted.

Ill double check the size, just looked at the CAAD12 size chart and there is no size 51🤔

. @Trekker09 Tallaght powder coating, they have done a few bits for me over the years. , it was around c€150 for the paint stripping and PC as far as I can remember

If it was in my size I'd take your arm off. I hope you find a good home for it.

    Update, it's a size 52.

    Measured this morning.

What height are you? Think I might be closer to a 54 in these looking at stack and reach. Also, what length is the stem and what us the maximum tyre clearance?

  • Registered Users Posts: 658 ✭✭✭Whatwicklow

I am 5'7" and this is a little long on top for me.

Stem is currently a 6deg 70mm xc mtb, but I can throw in a 100mm if required. Plenty of length in the seat post.

Tyres are 25's with plenty of clearance, id expect you could fit 28 but I havet tried.

Interesting to note the reach value is the same as most manufacturer's 54 frames , for what it's worth.

I ride a 54 almost everywhere but have a 51 CAADX which works nicely for me with a 120mm stem.

Echo the praise for the colour scheme - very sweet indeed.

Same here - I'm a 54 in almost all makes and had a bike fit on my 54 CAAD12 and had to change to a shorter stem. I'm 1m78 in case anyone is on the fence for this one

Anyone seriously interested before this goes back to wall art?

Good price available to a good home.

Look, this looks a really nice bike and I wish someone would buy it. Then it would be gone. I have two issues. I’m unsure of the size. But mostly, I don’t know if I can justify another bike without getting rid of one and…. as we can see here…. it’s not a great market to sell into..
