Link Cable for Quest 3

I have an NVidia RTX 4000 with a USB C connection. I previously used a Quest 2 successfulle by hooking up an Link Cable.

I'm just after getting a Quest 3 and need to get a Link cable but the Oculus app is saying a USB 3 connection is recommended.

To my knowledge, I'd have to connect up directly to the USB C port on the RTX card in order to use the headset with VR compatile software like Steam?

Looking at some cheaper alternatives than the official Link cable? Can anyone recommend one?

Essentially - USB-C tells you the shape and hardware capabilities of the cable connector; USB 3 tells you the data transfer protocol and speeds of the cable.

Looks like they have a "very good" condition one for a little more, but it does state USB 3. Hasn't arrived yet, so can't say how it is.
