Would probably charge faster if you plugged it in😆. 40c is a good price, is there any timed charging? So much per half hour etc?

I posted this over in the new charger thread but probably worth putting here as well

Certa look to be building hubs too with planning gone in for a 4 charger hub in Ballinasloe, Galway

Be interesting to see what their plans are

I just share info from others , typically Facebook groups.

If you look on plugshare app you can typically find more information on the site from users.

It was one payment terminal and two spots with 1 x CCS cable each meaning 2 cars can charge at once. By now there may be 4 chargers, but may be still two.

I assume this site is open 24/7.

Certa do plan on having more sites. It looks like they do not have an app, pay by credit / debit card at payment terminal.

What you mean I can just pay with my debit card and I don't have to sign up for a new service and wait two weeks before an RFID card arrives???

    Feckin madness Ted! 😂

Ballinasloe seems like an odd choice for them, its bypassed by the motorway so it wouldn't have too much through traffic.

As the crow flies, certa is not far from the motorway, but it's nearly exactly between the two exits, so it will add 10 minutes onto a journey just to get there and back on the motorway.

It is some what close to the hospital so it might get some traffic from that.

There is an aldi, Costa, and Tesco in a short walking distance, with a McDonald's apparently going there too, so I suppose there would be worse places to stop.

The only vehicles I've seen using the existing charging infrastructure in the town are the guards and DPD (now I don't keep a constant eye on them or anything but just what I've noticed)

I assume it's the closest location they have to that section of the M6

Possibly close to a substation as well since getting power in can often be the slowest part of the process
