Safe camping

    Hi all,

    I am looking to go on a solo camping trip in Ireland this summer. One or two nights in the wilderness (not a camp site). Anybody got a recommendation where I could go that would be enjoyable and safe to park up the bike?

    Depends on where you are going but I’ve camped a few times on Keel Beach in Achill, there will be others camping there too but never had an issue.

    Ive had problems around dingle, not social issues but they have people going around making sure there’s no one camping on the beaches.

    (been couple of years) but check out Dollar Bay or right down to the Hook lighthouse itself
