We have an old dz type fuseboard with a 63amp main fuse with a faulty fuseholder. The fuseholder is on a 35mm railvso presumably could be replaced with a cb. What type of cb should be used in place of the main 63amp fuse,a 63amp mcb? Thanks

You've a 63 amp board and that is generally wired off a 12kVA esbn supply

Can't really advise outside of that as only a rec can work on the board

    Unit will need replacing clearly

That's a hazardous job for a non spark
