Xenograft or Allograft

I was talking with my dentist about other grafting materials for implants since what they offer is allografting and the idea of it weirds me out somewhat. After a bit they got back to me and said while they wouldn't trust working with artificial grafting materials (due to them being more prone to fracturing), they could do xenografting. However they stated that with xenografting there could be an increased risk of an immune response. If so, I could be willing to put aside my distaste of an allograft if it means less chance of failure.

Any help would be much appreciated.
