Large flat roof costs

    Hi all,

Living in an apartment block where the flat roof if in disrepair. It was build in the 60s and doesn't appear to have been replaced since.

Managemnt company hasn't shared any quote details yet but we'd like to be pre armed with some info.

Anyone have any idea what we should be expecting to pay per sqm?

It's a big square block, of approx 200 sqm with no skylights, chimneys, tanks or other obstructions. Three storeys tall so I'm guessing the whole thing would need to be wrapped in scaffolding to enable works?

From looking at a lot of forum posts in the UK, replacement would mean that the roof would need to be brought up to modern building standards, is that the case o er here aswell?

So question is, when all's done with scaffolding, removal, disposable, and replacement qre we looking at something in the range of 200, 1000, or 2000 per sqm?

Any input at all is greatly appreciated
