Wiper motor issue fabia skoda 2009

Hey.

Have a fabia skoda 2009 and the wiper motor stopped working. Brought to a garage and asked for insane money to replace the motor and linkages.

Got a second hand one and was tested infront of me and worked fine. I put in in but still nothing happens when I turn them on.

I checked the fuse and it's ok. I checked Power at the plug when I have the wiper switch on and getting only 7vdc.

Anyone got any ideas what else i could look at? Finding it hard to get any garage to look at it also as they say they don't do it.

Seems strange. Can you check the voltage out to the motor at the motor relay?

Check for corrosion or damage to cables to the motor.

I've no idea where the relays are?

It's my partners car I could check the relay when I get home if you happen to know where the relay would be in this car?

Its probably buried in google somewhere. I found this link that mentions fuse 44 for the wipe motor but doesn't mention any relays strangely.

I dont have time currently to dig deeper but in meantime, id check for cable damage.

Make sure you are getting an earth and 12v feed to motor.

Speed 1 adds another feed.

Speed 2 changes it to another feed.

I checked fuse 44 and all seems fine. I'm not too experienced in this sort of thing. I'll check earth in the morning but I know I'm just getting 7vish between power settings.
