About 1981, one Friday 13th, a free day from work I took my first ever flying lesson on Foxtrot Papa at Weston with Tim Luffingham. I continued from another four years until declined to renew on account of eyesight not meeting sufficient standard were my glasses to get destroyed another pair not findable due to my low vision.
It was great fun, some daredevil stuff you’d only do in a difficult to stall Rallye 100
