What’s this called?

Hi

the pull chord on this is broken (for ages!!). I’m on a DIY bent this week.

What is the fixture called so I can purchase one. It’s for under the stairs - perhaps there’s a better one that you could recommend please.

A shaver light!!! Ha - now you say it. Funny when it’s out of context.

Any other suggestions for under the stairs - the chord isn’t ideal. Thanks.

Presuming there's power there for the shaver light, just measure it and any same length LED strip light will work (and probably brighter) - can get one that with a switch on/off or motion detection as you please. You'll get them anywhere from Screwfix/hardware stores to Amazon and even Ikea - whatever is most convenient.

use a sensor light. Switches on/off automatically
