RTB annual registration

Reminder to landlords to be compliant with your annual registration of leases (even if you have multi year leases), this annual registration carries an annual fee of €40 and from the 1st of March onwards a penalty will be applied to late registration's.

Its an easy one to miss as it could be confused with one of the many other stealth taxes and charges that landlords face, at least with this one you can actually write it off against your income tax unlike the LPT which you can’t.

the great news is that their website continues to be a piece of crap where you will likely have to suffer through crashes, slowness, difficulty in navigating. It will feel good to know that a portion of your annual fees will be going to the software company who designed it, I believe it was a 2nd class project from some national school or at least that’s what the end product feels like.

    True, RTB site is awful.

Based on the appallingly bad RTB website, can any credence be given to RTB data?
