Deeplink shourtcut on homescreen

Hi, I have deeplinks for waze to get home to work and home destinations but I can't find a way to save these to my homescreen. My normal method is to go to the webpage on my browser and add to homescreen but that doesnt' work with deeplinks, as the correct page doesn't load in Chrome. An tips? (Easier the better!)
