Hatchback Boot opening - Can it be adjusted??

    2021 Corolla hatchback - Boot lid.

    My mother has a 'new to her' Toyota corolla hatchback, she is struggling with the boot opening, the inside handle is just a bit high for her to reach.

    Can it be adjusted so when it fully opens, she can reach the inside handle easier for closing it??

    Anyone know if the boot struts are adjustable?
