Balcony at back of house

    Hi,

I have plans to put a large balcony at the back, north facing, side of my house. Kitchen is on the second story.

Wood won't work because of moss being north facing. Plans include frosted glass on both sides for privacy to neighbours gardens.

Can you recommend anywhere I could go to for pricing please? I'm in Dundalk. I tried a local steal fabricator, but they said with the glass panes I would need someone specialised for balconies!

    Thanks

Will need a bespoke design from a structural engineer and/or a specialist balcony D&C company. Retrofitting would not be easy imo, in terms of structural adequacy and certification.

If 1.0 metre high, or more, over general/surrounding ground level, planning permission required.
