Replacement socket earth query.

Question for all you knowledge people, I bought a new double socket with usb ports and went to swap it over today. The old one has 2 earth wires with two separate points to wire them in, the new one only has one point for an earth. Do I need to return it, or is there a fix? Can the 2 wires go in the one earth point?
