Windscreen Replacement

So I managed to have my windscreen (Ioniq 6) hit by a small stone thrown up by a car in front of me on the motorway yesterday, which was initially just the localised impact point, but developed into a 20cm crack across the windscreen within an hour.

I've called the Aviva windscreen number and was referred to their authorised replacement company. The conversation went along the line that they will order the windscreen and fit it, but the "camera calibration" will have to be done by a Hyundai dealer.

Has anyone been through this process recently with Hyundai, or any other dealer - anything to watch out for, or is it fairly straightforward?

Went through the process with an EV6 last year. Very straightforward. Left the car with the dealer. The windscreen repair company called out to their premises and replaced the windshield. Service tech then calibrated the camera. No hassle or drama

Ok, sounds good. Windscreen replacements are more complex than they used to be!

Most windscreen places can do the calibration at their building but most cannot on the driveway. It's important to do as part of labe keep assist, if not done car may not stay in middle of lane.
