Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if this is not in the correct location, but done a search and this seems the most appropriate.

can anyone explain the difficulty level in the leagues.

i.e. The leagues are attributed a colour Red,Yellow, White, Emerald etc…instead of being called 1,2,3 or A,B,C, etc…

my sons team have been moved to a new league colour and are getting smashed every week, I feel there has been a mistake and they are plying at too high a level and just trying to understand. Thanks

Hi, I'm searching for the same information and didn't find anything that can explain how it works. Did you by any chance get any information about how the DDSL colour/divisions work from another source ? Thanks

It sounds like your son is in the non-competitive age groups. I'm not sure which colour is which, the DDSL make them like that so the young kids don't get labelled A/B/C or Division 1/2/3.

Since it's non-competitive the DDSL don't record league tables or anything, but they should do a few re-grades throughout the season to ensure that teams aren't getting smashed every week.

So maybe worth asking the coaches and they can take it up with their fixtures secretary if you think you should be regraded based on results

I was suprised that some coaches I spoke to hadn't realised the colours were different levels. I am not sure if there is any info provided to clubs by my son has played u8s and u9s and this is what I know from experience. Red is the top level and blue is the 2nd tier, the Saturday Red would be a slightly higher level than Sunday Red but not too much in the difference. There is a big jump from Red to Blue. After Blue I am not sure of the squence but Yellow and Green would be mid level. After this Silvers and purples are lower level. From what I saw there was a sizable difference in levels at the top end.
