Sewing machine suggestions

    Hello,

    I would like to buy a sewing machine, could someone please suggest what I should look for. I will be making curtains.

    You are better off buying a good second hand machine such as a pfaff, bernina etc than a cheap new one from the likes of Aldi. Curtain making is easier with a sturdy machine. Singer sewing shop in Waterford are excellent. Maybe a second hand industrial machine might suit better than a domestic one for curtain making.

    If you are operating a business you can write the cost off over a few years as a capital cost.
