Petrol Honda vs Electric Kranzle

I'm at the age now where I'd like to buy a pressure washer which will be my first and hopefully last.

I'm torn between the honda gsx 200 and the Kranzle 2160 or 1152 models.

What I'd be using for is maintenance of my own place, patio, walls , footpaths, cars etc and probably family/friends also.

Has anyone experience of either as I like the power of the petrol but also l8ke the attraction of the more quieter electric but must have enough power/flow rate to carry out cleaning jobs at a handy enough pace.

Come to ask exactly the same question! Did you make a decision?

I bought a kranzle 2160 , over 2 years ago now , absolute beast , and more powerful than the petrol power washer the stonemason brought to blast off lime wash for a re pointing job.

Will go all day without complaint when doing a massive cobble lock drive way and the oscillating lance works like a whip on weeds . You can hear from the way it operates that it’s never strained .

Only fault is it eats 13 amp fuses when idle ?….?

Went with the Honda.GX. spent a few quid on it alright ( belt driven pump ) so this will hopefully see me out.

Had a few outings with it and Im delighted I went with this beast. Even earned a few quid powerwashing acquaintances drives/patio etc.

Its a commercial quality washer and cleans accordingly.

The Kranzle did look good too but if you overwork it I heard ( from powerwasher suppliers/ maintainers ) it can burn out the pump.

I dont look for much at this stage of my life so said Id treat myself to a solid quality set up, easy if parts are ever needed and if I ever did want to sell down the line ( which I dont at present) I know I'dhave no bother selling.

    Best of luck !
