Unknown transaction

    Hi all

    I am trying to figure out for an elderly friend a transaction on her bank statement that we can't figure out what it is below is the transaction information would anyone be able to figure out where it was.

    ATM D052 01 AIBK BANKLINK

    AIB ATM withdrawal. They only have them in/at branches these days

    It's a cash withdrawal from an AIB ATM.

    Thanks for the reply she has a northern Bank account so she wouldn't have been in the Republic of Ireland which doesn't make sense, we will have to speak to the bank, does the code D052 01 mean anything for a location..

    AIB operate in Northern Ireland.

    Some people remember them as First Trust, but the name has been changed

    Could this be fraud or would the card have diffently being inserted into the machine

    I assume that D052 01 is some kind of identification code for the ATM, yes. You could try asking AIB.

    First things first, establish what the transition is by contacting the bank.
