    Is it worth a cast with spinners into the liffey in town.? I'm working right beside it and I've an hour lunch break...

    Actually, I'm also wondering if it's legal to fish in the city centre along the quays.

    I have seen people mullet fishing on the south quays west of capel street bridge. Actually have seen them catching mullet there. not sure there is much there that would be worth targeting with lures. There are some perch and small pike around the basins and canals which might be worth a go. Just watch out for junkies on the back cast.
